becca kate is not afraid to push the boundaries of songwriting.
Born and raised in Somerset, England, becca fell in love with songwriting at the age of seventeen and has followed her passion ever since.
Taking inspiration from a multitude of different genres, her own work is experimental, pairing vast instrumentation and rich production with often melancholic and vulnerable lyricism.

Singer-songwriter Becca Kate’s exciting new EP, ‘THE PROVIDENCE’, is a collection of work anchored in unpredictability. From its uproarious production and musicianship to its poignant storytelling, Becca leaves the listener not quite knowing whether to dance and sing, or to sit quietly and cry. Each track is fearless in its own unique fashion; evocative melodies blend with stark lyricism rooted in striking vulnerability; every song introducing a new sense of unease, eventually to be replaced with resolution.
